Late-Night Shooting in Southeast D.C. Injures Man and Woman

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A man and a woman were injured in a shooting Saturday night in Southeast D.C.

The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is actively investigating the shooting that occurred shortly after 10 p.m. in the 1500 block of Butler Street.

Authorities were quickly on the scene, where they found a man and a woman suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Both individuals were conscious and breathing upon arrival; however, their current condition is unknown at this time.
