Late-night Shooting in West Philadelphia Leaves Man Critically Injured

PHILADELPHIA, PA – In a late-night incident, a 25-year-old man was shot inside a residence on the 1300 block of North 56 Street in West Philadelphia. The local police department reports that the shooting occurred just before 12:30 AM on Sunday.

After the shooting, officers transported the man to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was placed in critical condition. A firearm was found at the scene, and an arrest has been made in connection to the case. The identities of the victim and the arrested person have yet to be disclosed.
