Late-Night Shooting Injures One in Rochester

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Rochester Police Department reported an incident late Sunday evening on Kirkland Road.

Officers reached the 100 block of Kirkland Rd. and uncovered signs of a recent gunfire. It was later established that a wounded individual had sought medical attention at Strong Memorial Hospital.

The injured party, identified as a 21-year-old male, was treated for at least one gunshot wound to his lower body.

His injuries are not considered life-threatening. The circumstances leading to the shooting remain unclear, and the Rochester Police Department is actively seeking information from the public.

Witnesses or individuals with knowledge of the event are asked to dial 911 immediately.
