Latrobe Man Beat McDonald’s Worker Over Mixup on Iced Coffee Order

UNITY TOWNSHIP, PA – On October 31, an altercation at a McDonald’s in Mountain Laurel Plaza escalated when Jordan Ripingill, 33, attacked an employee over a misprepared iced coffee.

Pennsylvania State Police have filed charges against Ripingill for simple assault and harassment following his confrontation, which included physical violence.

 The assault resulted in injuries for the employee.   The incident took place in the presence of staff, customers, and children.

The Westmoreland County District Attorney’s Office is cooperating with state police in pursuing the case.
