AKRON, OH – The Akron Police Department (APD) is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a theft incident.
On Sunday, October 8, the suspect allegedly stole a victim’s purse at a laundromat located at 970 N. Main St.
Post-theft, the suspect was seen entering the bathroom, removing the victim’s debit and laundromat card, and discarding the purse in a trash bin upon exit.

If anyone spots the suspect, they are advised not to approach and to immediately call 911.
