Laurel fight ends with man stabbed and suspect in cuffs

Laurel man charged after stabbing during fight on Laurel Fort Meade Road

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD – A 31-year-old man is facing charges after police say he stabbed another man during a fight in Laurel Tuesday afternoon.

Anne Arundel County police said officers responded around 2:30 p.m. on August 19 to the 3300 block of Laurel Fort Meade Road after multiple 911 callers reported two men fighting, with one armed with a knife.

When officers arrived, they said Terry Rodney-Jerome Hunter of Laurel dropped the knife and was taken into custody without further incident.

The 33-year-old victim was transported to a hospital with what police described as a serious injury. His current condition has not been released.

Hunter was charged in connection with the stabbing. Police did not provide additional details on the charges filed.
