Police departments across the region honor fallen officer remembered for courage and service
MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Tributes continue to pour in for Officer Kristen Yeager following her death in the line of duty, with police departments across Pennsylvania and beyond honoring a public servant remembered for her commitment to protecting others.
The Middletown Township Police Department issued a statement expressing condolences to the Central Berks Regional Police Department, as well as Officer Yeager’s family, friends, and fellow officers.
Police officials described news of Yeager’s death while responding to a call for service as a loss deeply felt throughout the law enforcement community.
“Hearing of the tragic loss of Officer Yeager while she was answering the call to serve and protect is a heavy blow felt by the entire law enforcement community,” the department said.
