Leesburg Police Investigating Early Morning Shooting

LEESBURG, VA — Leesburg Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the early hours of Thursday.

The incident took place in a residential parking lot adjacent to the Leesburg Volunteer Fire Co. Station 20.

The victim, involved in an argument with the suspect, was shot at while in his vehicle. Despite his vehicle being struck, the victim was unharmed and sought police assistance at the fire station.

The suspect, along with two other individuals, was not found at the scene.

Leesburg Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Section is conducting an investigation and encourages anyone with information or surveillance footage to contact Detective J. Carter.
