“Let’s Go Brandon” New Jersey Transit Elevator Doors Tagged Ahead of Joe Biden Visit

KEARNY, NJ – New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy is scheduled to host President Joe Biden on Monday at the New Jersey Transit Meadowlands Maintenance Complex. Ahead of the President’s visit, somebody, according to a source within the New Jersey Department of Transportation, left a message.

On elevators inside the building, “Let’s Go Brandon” was spraypainted on the doors. The source within the NJDOT wished to remain anonymous.

On Monday, employees at the facility were told not to come to work during the President’s visit.

Reuters reported, U.S. President Joe Biden will travel to New Jersey on Monday to make his case for budget legislation as negotiations among Democratic lawmakers continue, White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki said on Wednesday.

Biden is also expected to make an announcement regarding federal funding for the Gateway Tunnel project that will add a new connection between New Jersey and New York City.
