Local Man Arrested on Multiple Felony Charges in Wellsville

WELLSVILLE, NY – Police in Wellsville have arrested Brayden T. Green, a 20-year-old resident of the town, on charges of Rape 3rd, Criminal Sexual Act 3rd, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. The charges are related to incidents that allegedly occurred on Rauber Street in May of 2023.

After an investigation, Green was taken into custody and processed. He was arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson and is currently being held at Allegany County Jail. His bail has been set at $5,000.00 cash, $10,000.00 property bond, or $50,000.00 partially secured bond.

Green is scheduled to appear in Wellsville Village Court on August 1st at 4:30 pm. The police department has not released any further details about the case at this time.
