Lockport 7-Eleven store sells winning Take 5 ticket

LOCKPORT, NY — A Take 5 top-prize-winning ticket worth $17,684.50 was sold at a 7-Eleven store in Lockport, the New York Lottery announced.

The lucky ticket for the Dec. 29 midday drawing was purchased at the 7-Eleven located at 1 Park Ave.

Take 5 numbers are selected from a pool of one through 39, with drawings held twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

The New York Lottery reminds winners they have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.

Players are encouraged to verify their tickets for potential winnings.
