Long Branch Football Team Shutdown After COVID-19 Positive

LONG BRANCH, NJ – The Long Branch High School football team is following state-mandated quarantine rules after one player was tested positive for COVID-19 district officials said.  As playoff season begins, the team will remain sidelined for now.   District officials also reported one middle school employee also tested positive.  No date for the resumption of activities for the team has been announced.  The COVID-19 case on the football team has not impacted students and no changes to schedules or routines have been made.
