Lottery player scores big with $182,504 Fast Play prize in Vandergrift

VANDERGRIFT, PA — A Pennsylvania Lottery player struck it big with a progressive top prize-winning Cash Boom Fast Play ticket worth $182,504 sold in Westmoreland County.

The winning ticket was purchased on Friday, November 15, at Pomfret’s Paints & Variety, located at 149 Farragut Avenue in Vandergrift. The retailer will receive a $500 bonus for selling the ticket.

Cash Boom, a $5 Fast Play game, offers progressive top prizes that start at $75,000. Unlike traditional Scratch-Off tickets, Fast Play games print on demand and do not require scratching or waiting for a drawing.

Lottery officials encourage the ticket holder to sign the back of the ticket immediately and contact the Pennsylvania Lottery at 1-800-692-7481 to begin the prize claim process. Prizes over $5,000 are subject to applicable withholding, and winners have one year from the ticket purchase date to claim their prize.
