FAIRPORT, NY – One lucky shopper walked away a whole lot richer after snagging a top-prize Take 5 ticket worth $30,180.50 in Sunday night’s drawing, according to the New York Lottery.

The winning ticket for the September 22 Take 5 evening draw was sold at Wegmans #24, located at 6600 Pittsford Palmyra Road in Fairport. The ticket matched all five numbers drawn from a pool of 1 to 39, securing the full top prize.

Take 5 drawings are held twice daily, at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., giving players two chances each day to win. Tickets can be claimed for up to one year from the date of the draw.

The winner’s identity has not yet been made public, and it remains unclear whether the prize was claimed immediately or if the ticket is still in circulation. Lottery officials did not release the winning numbers from the drawing.
