NEW YORK, NY – Two lucky New York Lottery players each won $9,702.50 in the Nov. 8 midday TAKE 5 drawing, with top-prize tickets sold in Newburgh and Syracuse.

The winning tickets were sold at:

  • Smokes 4 Less, 59 North Plank Road, Newburgh
  • Price Chopper, 2515 Erie Boulevard East, Syracuse

TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field of 1 through 39 and are held twice daily — at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Players have up to one year from the draw date to claim any prize.

These wins add to a growing list of recent New York Lottery payouts, which contribute billions in annual funding to public education across the state. During the 2024–2025 fiscal year, the Lottery contributed $3.6 billion to support New York’s public schools.
