WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ — Chesapeake Bay Helicopters has commenced routine fall patrols across the JCP&L region today. These operations, which will survey all JCP&L transmission lines ranging from 115kV to 500kV, are scheduled to continue over the next week, weather permitting.

The patrols are vital for maintaining the infrastructure and are anticipated to wrap up within one week. However, any storm-related incidents or outages may extend this timeframe.

For the duration of the inspections, a Blue Bell 206 Jet Ranger with tail registration number N719CB will be utilized. This helicopter is key to the success of the operations, allowing for thorough and efficient inspections of the transmission lines.

Residents and visitors in the area may notice the distinctive blue helicopter overhead as it conducts its surveys across the region.
