Lucky Newburgh lottery player hits $500K PICK 10 jackpot

NEWBURGH, NY — A lucky lottery player in Newburgh is $500,000 richer after purchasing the winning PICK 10 ticket in the December 1 drawing, according to the New York Lottery.

The top-prize ticket was sold at Smokes 4 Less, located at 59 North Plank Road. The PICK 10 game involves drawing ten numbers from a field of 1 to 80, with drawings held nightly at approximately 8:30 p.m.

The Lottery reminds players that prizes, regardless of the amount, must be claimed within one year from the date of the drawing. The winning numbers for the December 1 drawing have not yet been publicly claimed.
