Lucky player in Ohio claims big scratch-off jackpot

BELLE VALLEY, OH — A Belle Valley lottery player is celebrating a $50,000 win after purchasing a Mega Multiplier scratch-off ticket at a local convenience store.

Terri bought the winning ticket at Par Mar Store #219, located at 103 St. Rt. 821. After state and federal taxes totaling 28%, she will take home approximately $36,000.

The Mega Multiplier scratch-off is a $10 game with a top prize of $500,000. As of March 19, one top prize remains unclaimed, along with numerous other cash prizes.

Since 1974, the Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $33 billion to education across the state.
