MANHATTAN, NY — A third-prize-winning ticket for the Powerball drawing on Monday was sold in Manhattan, as announced by the New York Lottery.
The $50,000 winning ticket was sold at 9th Ave Tobacco & Smoke Shop, located at 334 9th Avenue in Manhattan.
Powerball numbers are drawn from a pool of one to 69, with the red Power Ball drawn from a separate pool of one to 26. Drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
