Macungie Man Charged with Homicide and Aggravated Assault in Allentown

ALLENTOWN, PA – Yesterday, District Attorney Jim Martin and Allentown Police Chief Charles Roca announced the arrest of Hosheem Johnnyray Klotz, 30, of Macungie, on charges of criminal homicide and aggravated assault.

On March 9, 2023, Allentown Police responded to North 10th and Linden streets and found the victim, Mastapha Brown, seated on the curb. An investigation revealed Klotz had assaulted Brown after an argument at a nearby restaurant.

Video surveillance showed Klotz striking Brown multiple times in the head and face before stomping on his head. Klotz now faces felony charges of criminal homicide and aggravated assault.
