Troopers were alerted to a suspected DUI around 4:18 p.m. on October 12, 2023, in the vicinity of Cinnamon Way, The Reserve of Chestnut Ridge, in Magnolia. Authorities located the reported vehicle, a gold Chrysler Pacifica equipped with a wheelchair lift, traveling northbound on Almonds Way. According to the police report, while following Moskal with emergency lights activated, the trooper observed her driving into the grass, failing to stop at a stop sign, neglecting to signal before turns, and showing fluctuating travel speeds.

She was taken into custody after partially completing standardized field sobriety tests. Subsequent computer checks revealed that Moskal had a history of five prior DUI-related convictions.
