Man Arrested After Assaulting 7-Year-Old Girl in Reston Store

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA — A 25-year-old man was arrested after allegedly sexually assaulting a 7-year-old girl inside a store in Reston, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.

The incident occurred on August 9 around 10:30 p.m. in the 11100 block of South Lakes Drive. The girl and her mother noticed that the man, identified as Arturo Elmore-Adon of Reston, was following them in the store. Arturo reportedly touched the girl inappropriately and took a photo of her without consent before leaving the area.

Police arrested Arturo on August 12, charging him with aggravated sexual battery and unlawful creation of an image of a minor.
