Cockeysville, MD – A 24-year-old man was arrested Sunday after reportedly approaching women outside businesses in the Cockeysville area and forcing them to read a notebook filled with threats and sexual demands. Police identified the suspect as Micah Narteh, who now faces a disorderly conduct charge following the incidents that alarmed several members of the community.
Investigators said Narteh confronted women on two separate occasions, handing them a notebook that contained explicit language and written threats implying he was armed. The disturbing messages, authorities said, demanded sexual acts under threat of violence.
When officers located and arrested Narteh, they determined he did not have a weapon, despite the written claims. No physical or sexual assaults have been reported in connection to the incidents at this time, but officials said the investigation remains ongoing.
Authorities are asking anyone who may have come into contact with Narteh or experienced similar encounters to call 911 or reach the Baltimore County Police Department at 410-887-1823.
A quiet Cockeysville afternoon turned unsettling when words on paper became a public threat.
