Man Arrested for Assault and Harassment After Pen Argyl Domestic Dispute

PEN ARGYL, PA – Slate Belt Regional Police arrested Jakob D. Hoskin on charges of simple assault and harassment after responding to a domestic dispute in progress at 107 A St in Pen Argyl on Monday, at approximately 5:27 PM. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a female who had visible injuries.

She informed the police that her boyfriend, Hoskin, had caused the injuries during a verbal argument that escalated.

Hoskin was taken into custody and transported to Northampton County Prison, where a detainer was issued. He was lodged in the prison awaiting further legal proceedings.

On Friday, May 5, 2023, Hoskin was arraigned on the aforementioned charges before a Magisterial District Judge and was sent back to Northampton County Prison.
