Man Arrested for Assaulting Pregnant Girlfriend in Clay Township

CLAY TOWNSHIP, PA – The Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department apprehended Tyler Dwayne Ramey, 33, of Ephrata, on Tuesday, following a disturbance in the 1700 block of West Main Street, Clay Township.

Ramey is charged with Simple Assault (domestic violence) and Resisting Arrest.

The incident involved Ramey pushing his girlfriend, who is six months pregnant, to the ground.

Ramey attempted to flee the scene on foot but was apprehended by officers. He was brought before MDJ Russell to face the charges.

The NLCRPD emphasizes the seriousness of domestic violence and asks the community to report such incidents.
