Man Arrested for Attempted Robbery in Northwest D.C.

WASHINGTON, DC — A significant arrest was made by the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District in connection with an attempted robbery incident. The event occurred in the 2000 block of 12th Street, Northwest, where an individual faced a harrowing encounter.

Kevin McLean, a 34-year-old resident of Northwest, DC, was apprehended on the afternoon of March 1, after he allegedly attempted to rob a victim. The confrontation escalated when McLean pursued and assaulted the victim as he attempted to escape.

Due to the prompt response of law enforcement, McLean was arrested and charged with Assault with Intent to Rob, ensuring community safety and bringing relief to the victim.
