Man Arrested for Burglary and Rape of a Minor in Montgomery County

Montgomery County, MD – A 33-year-old man, Eric Bacon, was arrested on Friday at approximately 5 a.m. after allegedly committing burglary and first-degree rape of a minor in the 15000 block of Frederick Road.

The arrest followed an investigation by the Montgomery County Department of Police-Special Victim’s Investigations Division. Detectives believe there may be more victims who have not come forward.

Bacon reportedly entered the victim’s apartment on Wednesday at around 3 p.m. and sexually assaulted the juvenile victim. He subsequently left the residence with stolen property. The victim’s brother later arrived around 7 p.m. and observed Bacon still at the residence.
