Man Arrested for Public Intoxication with Active Warrant

Wilkes-Barre, PA – A warrant arrest occurred on Saturday morning for public intoxication involving a local resident. Police were called to 815 Kidder Street at 1:51 AM for reports of disorderly conduct.

Upon arrival, officers found 36-year-old Joshua Creasing engaging in disruptive behavior. Creasing was reportedly rolling on the floor and throwing items off the shelves.

Investigations revealed that Creasing was under the influence of a controlled substance. It was also discovered he had an active arrest warrant issued by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.

Creasing was taken into custody by Wilkes-Barre City Police. He was subsequently transported to City Headquarters and then to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility (LCCF).
