Man Arrested in Child Luring Case in West New York

West New York, NJ – Officers from the West New York Police Department responded to an incident on November 19, at 10:45 PM. A man was reported attempting to lure an 11-year-old girl into a vehicle near 61st Street and Kennedy Boulevard in West New York. The girl was unharmed during the event.

A swift investigation led to the arrest of Guy R. McCann II, a 29-year-old from North Bergen. He faces charges of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Attempting to Lure or Entice a Child. McCann is currently detained in the Hudson County Jail, with charges still requiring legal determination of guilt.
