NEW YORK, NY – A 24-year-old man was assaulted after he confronted three unknown individuals who were removing the rims and tires from his Toyota SUV. The incident took place on Wednesday, October 4, at approximately 5:15 a.m., near Aldus Street and Southern Boulevard.
Upon confrontation, the perpetrators struck the victim multiple times on the arms with a wrench and threw a lug nut at his head. The suspects then fled the scene in an unknown vehicle, taking the victim’s property. The victim sustained minor injuries and received on-site medical treatment from Emergency Medical Services.
The first individual is described as a male, approximately 5’10” tall with a medium complexion, wearing a black mask, black jacket, ripped blue jeans, and black and gray sneakers.
The second individual is described as a male, approximately 5’9″ tall, wearing a black mask, black hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and black sneakers.
The third individual is described as a male, approximately 5’9″ tall, wearing a black mask, black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and gray and white sneakers.
The suspects fled in a white four-door sedan. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
