COLUMBIA, MD – A man was beaten and robbed of his cell phone Tuesday night, according to the Howard County Police Department.
The incident happened in the 5600 block of Harpers Farm Road at around 8:12 pm.
Police said an adult male victim reported that he was approached on a footpath near the above location by a male suspect who assaulted him and stole his wallet and cell phone before fleeing.
No serious injuries were reported.
The suspect is reportedly a black male in his 40s, with an average build wearing a yellow t-shirt.
