Man Beaten Brutally With Rock on New York City Subway Platform

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department reported a man 64-year-old man was brutally beaten with a rock and rushed to the hospital with head trauma.

According to police, on Saturday, at around 12:48 am, a man got off the train at the southbound D line platform at the Avenue H train station in Brooklyn when he was confronted by a seemingly disoriented man.

The man then jumped into the train tracks, grabbed a rock, returned to the platform and began savagely beating Intazar Dar, a security guard who was on the way home from his shift as a Manhattan security guard.

Dar was heading toward the turnstile after disembarking the train when he was attacked, according to a surveillance video released by the NYPD.
