Man Beaten, Robbed on East 149th Street

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying an individual involved in a robbery on Saturday, July 1.

The incident occurred at approximately 4:40 AM in front of 610 Exterior Street.

The victim, a 34-year-old male, was engaged in a dispute with an unknown male individual when a second unknown male approached him from behind and punched him several times in the head.

The first individual then stole the victim’s cellphone and motorcycle, fleeing toward East 149 Street, while the second individual fled on foot toward the Major Deegan Expressway.

The victim sustained bruising and swelling to the head as a result of the incident. Anyone with information related to this robbery is asked to contact the New York City Police Department.
