MAHANOY CITY, PA – Angel Aubreu-Lopez, age 21, address unknown, was charged by Officer Lenar with Luring a Child into Motor Vehicle or Structure, and Stalking. The arrest followed an incident that occurred around 8 PM Sunday in the 900 block of East Pine Street, when Abreu-Lopez allegedly attempted to lure a 12-year old female into a home, the incident being the latest of several similar recent attempts by Abreu-Lopez to do so.
Abreu-Lopez was arraigned before on-call District Magisterial Judge David Plachko of Port Carbon, and committed to Schuylkill County Prison in lieu of $75,000 bail. A preliminary hearing will be scheduled before District Magisterial Judge Anthony Kilker of Shenandoah at a later date.
