Man Charged for DUI After Running Red Light

CAMBRIDGE, MD – Joseph Samuel Thomas, 59, was taken into custody by the Cambridge Police Department on Monday, July 30.

At around 8:30am, officers pulled over Thomas’s vehicle on the 500 block of Cedar St.

The stop was motivated by a traffic violation.

Officers noticed signs of intoxication, leading to Thomas failing a Standardized Field Sobriety Test.

Thomas was charged with multiple offenses including Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving While Impaired by Alcohol.
