Man charged for exposing himself to children at North Jersey department store

SECAUCUS, NJ – Police in Secaucus have arrested a New York man after he was caught exposing himself to children and customers inside a Kohls Department store.

According to police, on Thursday, Christopher Honnold, 27, of Smithtown New York, entered the store and walked around and committed various inappropriate acts.

“he man was gratifying himself in view of the public, were he could be observed by children under the age of thirteen. After being approached by a Loss Prevention Officer, the man then left the store,” police said.

After being identified by police, Honnold turned himself in and was placed in the Hudson County Jail after being charged with multiple criminal acts.

“I commend my detective division for their swift work in identifying this man,” Chief Dennis Miller said. “While his actions are quite disturbing, he will be held accountable for his crimes.”
