Newburgh, NY – A 32-year-old man from Hudson Valley faces charges of attempting to kill his mother and aunt in a violent attack. Donnie Smith of Newburgh was charged on a Tuesday with multiple counts of attempted murder related to the incident that occurred on a Sunday.
Court documents claim Smith stabbed both women multiple times, causing severe injuries. Smith is being held on bail or bond and is set to appear for a conference next month.
