BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A 23-year-old man has been charged with first-degree murder following a fatal domestic stabbing that occurred Saturday afternoon in a Parkville residence, according to Baltimore County Police.

Officers responded around 1 p.m. to a home in the 8300 block of Nunley Drive, ZIP code 21234, after receiving reports of a domestic disturbance. Inside the residence, police discovered two individuals suffering from stab wounds.

Taejhiana Walker, 22, was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect, identified as Rashard Mack, 23, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Upon his release, homicide detectives formally charged Mack with first-degree murder in connection with Walker’s death. Police have not disclosed the nature of the relationship between the two individuals, but classified the incident as domestic in nature.

Mack is currently being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

“Baltimore County Police homicide detectives have charged a 23-year-old man with first-degree murder,” the department stated in a post on its verified social media channels.

Authorities have not released additional information as the investigation remains ongoing.
