Man Critically Injured in Subway Shooting in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — A 44-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot multiple times inside a subway station in the city’s Fern Rock neighborhood on Monday morning, according to police.

The shooting occurred around 10:47 a.m. at the station located at 5600 North Broad Street. The victim was struck three times in the back and was quickly transported by police to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition.

Authorities have made one arrest in connection with the incident, and a weapon has been recovered at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing, and no further details have been released.
