Man Fatally Shot In D.C. Home

Washington, D.C. – Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in Northeast D.C. on Saturday.

At approximately 1:30 p.m., officers responded to a shooting report in the 1800 block of Providence Street, Northeast. Upon arrival, they located the victim inside a residence, where he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim has been identified as 45-year-old Michael Sturgent Morris of Northeast.
