Man fatally shot in Upper Marlboro, police launch homicide investigation

Upper Marlboro, MD – Prince George’s County Police are investigating a fatal shooting that claimed the life of a 30-year-old man in Upper Marlboro on Wednesday morning.

The victim, identified as Randon Howard, was found shortly after 8:15 a.m. near Grandhaven Avenue and Old Colony Drive. Responding officers discovered him outside suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives have not yet identified a suspect or determined a motive. The department’s Homicide Unit is leading the investigation.

A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and indictment. Authorities urged anyone with knowledge of the case to call detectives at 301-516-2512.
