Man fatally shot near South Eutaw Street in Baltimore, police investigating

BALTIMORE — A man was fatally shot Saturday afternoon in Baltimore’s Central District, according to police.

Officers responded to the unit block of South Eutaw Street at approximately 2 p.m. after receiving reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered an unidentified man suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital by medics but later succumbed to his injuries, police said.
