Man shot dead on Presstman Street as Baltimore police launch homicide investigation

BALTIMORE, MD – A man was gunned down on a Western District street in the early hours of Saturday morning, marking the latest in a string of overnight shootings under investigation by city homicide detectives.

Just after 2 a.m., patrol officers responded to the 300 block of Presstman Street following reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they found an unidentified man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Medics rushed the victim to a nearby hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival. His identity has not been released pending family notification.
