Man Fatally Stabbed in Lenox Avenue Park, Suspect in Custody

NEW YORK, NY – On Tuesday, at approximately 5:21 PM, officers in Harlem responded to a 911 call reporting a stabbing incident at a park located at West 145 Street and Lenox Avenue. Upon arrival, they found a 61-year-old male, later identified as Pressie Taylor of 124 West 137 Street, with a stab wound to the chest.

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) arrived at the scene and quickly transported Taylor to Harlem Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. A 63-year-old male suspect was taken into custody at the scene, with charges pending. The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and are expected to release more information as the case develops.
