Man Fatally Struck by Amtrak Train in Philadelphia’s 15th District

Philadelphia, PA – An unidentified “John Doe” was fatally struck by a southbound Amtrak train at Harbison Avenue and Bridge Street on the train tracks at approximately 9:43 p.m.

Engine 52 responded to the scene and pronounced the male deceased at 10:13 p.m.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing. Authorities are working to identify the victim and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
