Man Found Dead in Hillsborough, Police Investigating

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ – A man was discovered deceased in Hillsborough Township, prompting an investigation by local authorities. The incident occurred around 4:25 p.m. when pedestrians found the individual “down and unresponsive” in the grass between a Shell gas station and Bank of America along Amwell Road.

The man, wearing black clothing and positioned face down, was not immediately visible from the roadway. Police and rescue squad personnel arrived at the scene, confirming the man was deceased.

Initial assessments suggest the man may have succumbed to a medical issue, leading to his death. Authorities have indicated there is no concern for public safety following the incident.

The New Jersey Northern Regional Medical Examiner’s Office has taken custody of the body. An autopsy is scheduled to ascertain the cause and manner of death, alongside a positive identification of the deceased.
