PHILADELPHIA, PA – A man was found unresponsive inside an apartment on the 5600 block of Race Street on Friday morning, prompting a homicide investigation, officials said.

The victim, an adult male, was discovered around 8:50 a.m. Medics arrived and pronounced him dead at 9:06 a.m. A man was taken into custody at the scene for further questioning, but no charges have been filed.
