Man Found Dead on Cleveland’s East Side

CLEVELAND, OH – Early Wednesday, a 22-year-old man was found dead on the city’s East side, specifically in the vicinity of Jelliffe Street and Longwood Avenue.

The victim, identified by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner as Theeontez Davis of Cleveland, was discovered on the ground around midnight.

A handgun was recovered at the scene.

The Cleveland Police Department is actively investigating the incident and is currently seeking any information regarding the shooter.

No arrests have been made at this time.
