Man found fatally shot inside Southeast Baltimore hotel

BALTIMORE, MD — A man was found dead from a gunshot wound early Sunday morning at a hotel in Baltimore’s Southeast District, prompting a homicide investigation.

Officers responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 1:29 a.m. in the 800 block of North Wolfe Street. Inside the hotel, police discovered an unresponsive adult male suffering from a gunshot wound.

Medics pronounced the victim dead at the scene, and his identity has not yet been released.
