Man Found Guilty of Weapon Possession

MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ – Mark Britt, a 32-year-old resident of Manchester Township, New Jersey, was found guilty on Monday of Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose and Harassment in connection with an incident that occurred on July 23, 2019.

Britt had utilized a handgun to threaten a female victim at a residence they shared. During the investigation, police found that Britt had buried two firearms, ammunition, and firearm accessories under a deck in his backyard.

Britt is scheduled to be sentenced on May 19, 2023, and faces up to ten years in New Jersey State Prison.
